1 Corinthians 9: 25 “Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.”
Saint Paul wants us to know that we should not focus on the race for success in this world, rather, we should seek the crown of life at the finish line.
What is the percentage of time for our stay here on earth versus eternity? It is so small that the decimal points are close to zero. Yet, in spite of that, we worry, fret, and complain about the events of our lives.
I praise You Lord for giving me the imperishable crown of life.
Are you living for the hope of eternal salvation or are you only able to see the rewards of this world?
