Deuteronomy 30:6 “The LORD, your God, will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, that you may love the LORD, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and so may live.”

What does it mean to circumcise your heart?  This promise, I believe, relates to a covenant with God regarding circumcision.  It means that when we are obedient to God’s word and calling, our hearts will become one with His.

In looking at the big picture of God’s love for us, if we choose to follow Him, He will bless us and our descendants down to the 100th generation.  This is both a great responsibility and a great blessing.

I praise and thank You Lord for the circumcision of my heart and that of my family so that I may love You with all my heart, soul, and mind forever!

How has God purified your heart so that you can love Him fully?
