1 Corinthians 2 15-16 “The spiritual person, however, can judge everything but is not subject to judgment by anyone. For “who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to counsel him?’ But we have the mind of Christ.”
The closer I get to the Lord, the more I realize how I think differently than most people in the world. I see world events or other activities that affect my life in a more spiritual context, not that of the flesh. I strongly believe that as we surrender to God, we take on His mind. In so doing, He gives us wisdom to make the right decisions.
Furthermore, He asks us not to “yoke” ourselves with unbelievers. By doing so, You will be in constant turmoil because they think in the flesh and you discern in the spirit of God.
I praise and thank You Lord, for giving me the mind of Christ and for helping me make better decisions that reflect Your will.
Do you guard yourself from the influence of nonbelievers and are you mindful of God’s will for you?
